Nick Hess had less than 10 minutes recovery from running a 1:59 split in the 4x800 relay and starting the 3200 run.  He ran the first three or four laps in total recovery.  He ran a really tough race to end up winning it with a time of 9:29.  He came back later to finish second in the 1600 meter in 4:31.
